01 — THE CHALLENGE

A site that drew the eye and never explained the what, why or how.

Arturo uses a proprietary aerial and satellite imagery API to capture home property data and analyze potential risks. Its old website drew visual interest but did not explain the how, why or what of the company, and the user experience and information architecture were not working for the people Arturo needed to reach. Visual polish without a clear story rarely converts, and in a category where competitors lean on maps and imagery, the site had to marry insightful content with visual interest unlike any of theirs. The goal was to increase engagement and conversions, communicate Arturo’s values, and improve the user experience.

02 — THE SOLUTION

02 — THE SOLUTION

Audit first, interviews next, then a redesign refined by user testing.

Audit first, interviews next, then a redesign refined by user testing.

We started with a UX and UI audit of the old site to understand the audience and each of their journeys. It surfaced four areas of concern: the homepage did not speak about solutions or value, the value and technology were hidden, there were no calls to action guiding users, and the overall UI did not immediately show what Arturo provides. We then interviewed Arturo’s CEO, CTO and CSO to understand the problems from a business and customer perspective, and validated them in interviews with three Arturo customers about their roles and their expectations of a home property data website. The redesign brought Arturo’s innovative culture into the experience and was honed through multiple rounds of user testing. The site now centers on Arturo’s values, technology and solutions, with relevant calls to action that guide visitors toward conversion, and Arturo has seen lead generation increase along with more data to support sales qualification.
